Dr. Douglas B. Hoehn to Lead Faculty Workshop at BMCC, Building on Recent Departmental Audit Insights

  Dr Douglas B Hoehn, of Wyckoff, New Jersey, will be conducting a workshop for faculty at The Borough of Manhattan Community College this June at the main campus. Dr Hoehn recently completed an audit of the college’s Speech and Communication Departments where he focused on the College’s strengths and need with suggestions for improvement. This is one of many departments at colleges and universities Dr Hoehn has performed in his role as consultant. He has  Masters Degree in Communications from the University of Maryland and a Ph.D from New York University.

Doug Hoehn to Host 10th Annual Bergen County Pet Adoption Drive in Wyckoff

Wyckoff New Jersey resident, Doug Hoehn, will be hosting the tenth annual adoption drive for the Bergen County Pet Rescue Drive .  Last year over 100 dogs and cats were adopted and found forever homes. Hoehn said he hopes to exceed that number this year.

Snowboard instructor Doug Hoehn of Wyckoff, New Jersey, completed a workshop for snowboard instructors. Hoehn stressed the lesson with the easy to remember DIRT.  D is Duration: represents how long a particular movement occurs; I is for Intensity: represents the measurable amount of force or power of movement; R is for Rate: represents a measure, quantity, or frequency, typically one measured against some other quantity or measurement. It is the speed at which movement occurs; T is for Timing: represents the choice, judgment, or control of when  movement should take place.  Hoehn said 45 instructors participated.
